Immanuel Swea City

After working in ministry in a variety of settings and churches my entire adult life, I finally answered the call to consider pastoral ministry in the fall of 2022 when Immanuel asked me to consider taking on the role of parttime pastor. I have a degree in Pastoral Ministry as well as a degree in Scripture and Theology and am currently enrolled in the Graduate Certificate program through Luther House of Study as I pursue full certification through LCMC.

When I’m not at church, I’m working in the office at Ingham Okoboji Lutheran Bible Camps managing camper registrations for all of the programs at both locations. Having always loved and been deeply impacted by camping ministry since my pre-teen years, working year-round at a Bible camp has been a dream come true.

I’m generally at the church 2 or 3 days a week and at camp the remaining time. I’m available by phone and email and will happily schedule a time to come over and meet with people as needed.
