Youth and Children
Kids of all ages are welcome and encouraged to participate fully in the life and worship of our congregation.
Children’s Church
Children’s church is geared towards kids ages 4-12 and is held each Sunday during the school year during our regular Sunday service. Kids are dismissed after the Children’s sermon and generally return for the closing song. If they run long, parents are welcome to pick them up after the service in the nearby classroom. Volunteers to lead a Sunday are always welcome and teaching materials are provided.
For the 2024-2025 school year, we are using the “All In One Sunday School” curriculum published by Group Publishing.
Mighty Warriors Kids
Mighty Warriors Kids is an initiative of the North Kossuth Ministerial Association and invites all students who attend the Swea City Elementary school, regardless of their church affiliation, to join together for a time of worship, games, and Bible study each Wednesday after school. Adult volunteers meet the students at the school to walk to our meeting place and the program lasts 90 minutes.
Mighty Warriors Youth
Mighty Warriors Youth is also an initiative of the North Kossuth Ministerial Association and invites all students of the area in grades 6-12, regardless of which school or church they attend, to join together for a time of fellowship, games, teaching, worship, and small groups. We currently meet at the Open Bible church in Swea City starting with dinner at 6pm on Wednesdays during the school year.
